WODDI Institute ("we", "our", "the platform") is operated by the Women of Divine Destiny Initiative.
We provide an online learning platform for women across Africa at woddiinstitute.com.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Account Data
- Full name
- Email address
- Country of residence
- Learning pathway selection (Good Mother Network or Nurture NextGen)
- Profile photo (optional, via Google Sign-In)
2.2 Learning Data
- Course progress (modules completed, phases finished)
- Quiz scores and results
- Certificates earned
- Learning streak and activity timestamps
2.3 Platform Activity
- Community forum posts and replies you create
- Marketplace listings you publish
- Support tickets you submit
- Notifications you receive and read
2.4 Technical Data
- Browser type and device information (via Firebase Analytics)
- Login timestamps (stored in Firestore)
- IP address (processed by Firebase, not stored by us directly)

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
4. Marketplace & Forum Data
Marketplace Listings
When you create a marketplace listing, the following information becomes publicly visible to other signed-in users:
- Your display name
- Listing title, description, price, and images
- Contact information you choose to provide
You can delete your listings at any time from your "My Listings" page.
Community Forum
Posts and comments you create in the community forum are visible to all signed-in platform members. Your display name and profile photo (if set) will appear beside your posts. You can delete your own posts at any time.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore database, Firebase Authentication, and Firebase Storage). Firebase provides enterprise-grade security and is compliant with industry standards.
We use Firebase Security Rules to ensure:
- You can only edit your own profile and content
- Students cannot access admin or tutor data
- Only authenticated users can access learning content
6. Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser localStorage to persist your session and learning progress across page loads. This is essential for the app to function. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
7. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction: Update your name, country, or profile information in your account settings
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Portability: Request an export of your learning progress data

8. Children's Privacy
WODDI Institute is designed for women aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via a platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
